The Idaho DX Association offers an award for working all forty-four counties in the great State of Idaho. It is simple to apply for the Worked-All-Idaho (WAID) award. See the WAID page for more information and the application procedure.
IDXA WORKED-ALL-IDAHO (WAID) AWARD
The Idaho DX Association sponsors the Worked All Idaho (WAID) award for stations working all forty-four (44) counties in the great State of Idaho.
Purpose
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge and reward amateur radio operators for the achievement of contacting amateur radio operators in each of
the forty-four (44) counties in the State of Idaho.
Rules
Eligibility
All amateur radio operators whom have worked all forty-four (44) counties in the State of Idaho shall be eligible for the award.
Bands
Confirmed contacts using the HF, UHF, and VHF amateur bands shall be eligible for the award.
Modes
Confirmed contacts via SSB, CW, AM, FM, RTTY, PSK, or Satellite modes shall be eligible for the award. Contacts via repeater, Echolink, or IRLP shall not be eligible for the award.
Contacts
A valid QSO shall consist, at the minimum, of a callsign and signal report exchange. Valid information submitted for the award shall consist of the callsign of contacted station, date, time, band, mode, and Idaho County of the contacted station.
Application
Applications for the Worked All Idaho Award shall be submitted only via email to info@idxa.org. Submit a cabrillo formatted log file with the qualifying QSO’s only. The email subject line shall contain ONLY your callsign followed by WAID. EX: NI7DX WAID. The body of the email shall be empty with only the cabrillo file attached. No partial credits or endorsements are available at this time. Please consider membership with the Idaho DX Association.
